Brain Smasher!
Brain Smasher! is a 1989 puzzle game based on the Chinese game of Mahjong Connect 2 (or I believe it's sometimes known as Shisen-Sho or Shisen). It was written and published by Jochen Merz of Duisburg, Germany. It maintains an oriental look to it, featuring a dragon on the splash screen (after the rather clever QL-style language selection screen) and Chinese-looking symbols on most of the tiles within game itself. The object of the game is to remove all of the tiles from the screen, but it requires some thought as you can only remove them in pairs and they must be virtually linked in a specific way - and as if that wasn't tricky enough, it all has to be done within a time limit!
It was originally supplied on 3.5" DD floppy disk and included German, English and French versions on the same disk. The printed manual consists of 4 pages (I assume they were supplied in one of the three aforementioned languages, depending on where they were sold).
The game is freely available (in a QXL.win file) as part of the QL-SD demo.
