Ultrasoft
There appear to have been two traders under the name of Ultrasoft.
The earliest (first advertising in QL User, November 1985) were based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire and offered one item for the Sinclair QL:
- QCLEAN - A microdrive cleaning system
A much better known trader, Ultrasoft, based in Düsseldorf, Germany, which was originally run by David B Smith who went on to set up Hallmark Software. Ultrasoft was then taken over by Martin Berndt (who also did most of the programming).
Under the original Ultrasoft, there were a few other authors involved, including Jochen Merz, Christian Caan von Seelen and Axel Pabich.
Amongst the titles released by the German Ultrasoft, were:
- Graphic Construction Kit written by Axel and Anke Pabich
- Full House written by Jochen Merz
- Mandelbrot Magic written by Christian Caan von Seelen
- QWriter written by Jochen Merz
